Our top-of-the-line wine Gran Familia reflects the De Martino family spirit: pioneering, modern, and backed by a long tradition in production. The grapes come from the 40-year-old “Old Vines” section of our Isla de Maipo vineyard.
After fermentation the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, bottled, and aged for another year before being released on the market. The 2001 and 2002 vintages of this wine were named Chile’s “Best Premium Wine” in the Chilean Guide to Wine.
