Chardonnay

De Martino, Chile’s pioneer winery par excellence, is reinventing the concept of Chilean wine by producing wines that are a true reflection of their origin.

This Chardonnay comes from a vineyard just 20 km (12.4 mi) from the sea in the Limarí Valley.

Because the temperatures are lower there than in the rest of the valley, the grapes ripen more slowly, which results in a fresh wine with exceptional natural acidity. Calcium carbonate in the soils lends a unique and elegant mineral characteristic to the wine. Serve at 13ºC (55°F).

Legado

This line is the result of encouraging the quality and typicity of a valley.

Because the concept of origin is the priority of the Legado line, grapes from different vineyards in the same valley but with different soil and climate characteristics may be blended while respecting the typicity of origin.

All of the wines in this line except the Sauvignon Blanc are aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months.
